The Most Prestigious Circus Manifestation of the World
Created in 1974 by HSH Prince Rainier III of Monaco, the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo has become the largest and most prestigious global meeting for Circus, attracting spectators from all around the world. Passionately organized and chaired by HSH Princess Stephanie of Monaco, the Festival presents each year a selection of over 30 of the best international performances rewarded with Gold, Silver or Bronze Clowns, ensuring to this World event to remain "THE manifestation of the circus arts."
The 45th edition to be held from Thursday, January 21th to Sunday, January 31th 2021, will host over 150 artists from 17 countries presenting their best performance.

Besides the Open Air Circus Show and Parade to be held Saturday, January 21st from 2:30pm downtown with all the artists of the 340th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo, Monaco hosts numerous events related to Cirque that entertain Monaco’s life from January 9th to January 19th (exhibitions, symposia, ecumenical worship, football game ...) and make it one of the most anticipated events.
